What it is for

Feeding documents to tools that work with text, such as AI assistants or note-taking apps, without losing how each page looks: the text to search and quote, the image to see tables, charts and layout.

Limitations

It extracts the text the PDF already contains. For scanned PDFs, which are only images, you get the images but not the text. Tables and headings are not converted to Markdown formatting.

Your files are never uploaded

The conversion runs inside your browser. Your PDFs are not sent to any server, not even ours. We only count how often the tool is used, anonymously.
