What it fixes

  • Text. Broken accents (José → José), extra spaces and inconsistent capitalisation (Barcelona, barcelona, BARCELONA).
  • Numbers and dates. Decimal commas, thousands separators, currency symbols and percentages, and dates in mixed formats, turned into a standard format.
  • Blanks and rows. Values such as “N/A” or “null” turned into real blanks, duplicate rows, and empty rows or columns.

Nothing changes without your say-so

Each fix shows how many cells it affects, with before and after examples, and it is only applied if you switch it on. When a decision is ambiguous, such as whether 03/04 is 3 April or 4 March, we ask you. When you export, you can download a report listing every change applied.

Your file is never uploaded

The analysis and the fixes run inside your browser using DuckDB. Your data is not sent to any server, not even ours. We only count how often the tool is used, anonymously.

Formats

You can open CSV, TSV, Excel (XLSX and XLS), JSON and Parquet files, and export to CSV, Excel, JSON or Parquet. In Excel, a “Changes” sheet summarises the fixes applied.
